Djeliba Leisure Group is a private limited company wholly owned by Messrs Malleh Sallah and Omar Jawara.

As equal partners, they each own 50% share ownership of the companies Djeliba Leisure Group and Balafon Company Limited.

Malleh Sallah has been involved in the tourism industry in the The Gambia for over a decade. He is Co-Founder and General Manager of Djeliba Hotel, Djembe Beach Resort, Balafon Beach Resort, Kora, Tamala Beach Resort and Kalimba Beach Resort. Malleh ventured into tourism as the original founder and General Manager of African Adventure Tours Ltd (AAT). AAT is one of the main promotors for summer tourism in The Gambia and through its 15 years of operation has handled and assisted thousands of tourists visiting the country.

Omar Jawara is a Barrister and Solicitor enrolled in both the Gambian and Nigeria Bar and is a Director of Djeliba Leisure Group and Balafon Company Limited. After passing the Bar, Omar commenced working in the legal sector as Junior Counsel for Ida Drammeh & Associates representing and counselling private companies in litigious cases.  Omar then went to work for the Attorney General Chambers in the Ministry of Justice as State Counsel for several years before moving into private practice.
